Due to the closure of the Electricity Showrooms owing to a noise abatement order the Coachwhips show for Upset! The Rhythm has been moved across the road to Plastic People (Curtain Road, EC2). The rest of the shows

AMY WADGE DATES

The honest and uplifting Welsh enchantress Amy Wadge is heading around the UK to spread wisdom, merriment and proudly perform her captivatingly crisp brand of indie. Possessing a voice that can at times be as powerful as Sheryl Crow, yet as polished and soothing as Cerys Mathews delivered with the aid of tingling and tuneful instrumentals, the welsh woe destroyer will woo audiences with her sheer passion for making music.

Amy will parade numbers from her latest album WOJ (this title came from different people’s attempts at pronouncing her surname). The shows vary from the instrumentally diverse full band performances to the more intimate duo sets depending on the venue. The latter type of show is best suited to highlight track from 'WOJ'; the piano based 'Nothing' that could earn Amy the laudable reputation of being a female Aqualung, with this ode to togetherness.
