C'MON MIRACLE, HOW ABOUT A MIRAH TOUR?

K Records lovely lady, Mirah makes a rare visit to the UK this June having
only appeared previously live once in the UK (with a set at
2002's Ladyfest London). On this tour, Mirah will sing and play guitar. she will
also be accompanied by friends playing violin, double bass and
accordion. Mirah's latest album 2004's, 'C'mon Miracle' is out now on K, and
will be released in the UK July 11th by Arrivederci Baby! records.
So make sure you don't miss the opportunity to catch Mirah's sweet lo-fi

THE PONYS PULLING INTO TOWN!

Chicago-based quartet The Pony's canter into a town near you this June on a
very wee UK tour. Along for the ride is new band member Brian Case of 90 Day Men
fame. The pony's latest Steve Albini produced release, 'Celebration Castle' is available
on In The Red Records distributed in the UK with Cargo. You can catch
the band Thurston Moore describes as "hot as fucking tar!" at the

PEAK SEASON FOR THE CHALETS

it's all go for The Chalets this summer season. Not only do they have a new
single out 27th June entitled 'Feel The Machine', had a track chosen to appear on the soundtrack for forthcoming Owen Wilson/Will
Ferrell/Christopher Walken film, "The Wedding Crashers", a brand new
album 'Check in' out August 15th, awarded Best New Band at the Meteor awards
(Irish Brits) but they also have a big ole tour coming up in a mere matter of
days.

PATRICK WOLF, TOUR WOLF

Patrick Wolf returns from his European adventures of rave reviews, sell-out shows and
fainting girls only to set out again on a UK/Ireland tour in support of the
single release 'Wind In The Wires' on June 13th. In support on all the shows across the
UK will be the London/New York duo Misty Roses, who released their debut CD "Komodo Dragons" (Rhythm of Life/Frog Man Jake) earlier this
year. More festival appearances for Patrick are to be announced very soon.

Damon & Naomi (ex Galaxie 500) return to Europe this month in the midst
of a crazy stint of shows. Fresh from their US tour and after a mammoth laundry
session the pair hit the road bound for the UK, and mainland Europe. Joining them for all
UK, Spanish and Portuguese shows will be Michio Kurihara whilst for the London and Newcastle show nmperign will be in tow and finally Bhob Rainey will join

JARIUS & SECONDSMILE ON TOUR
Two of the UK's finest up and coming bands, JAIRUS and SECONDSMILE, are heading out on tour together this June, showcasing new material which will be appearing on their forthcoming Big Scary Monsters released EPs. It's the first full national tour for Jairus, who have previously played across Europe and Japan, and also Secondsmile's return tour after the departure of frontman, Olly, at the end of last year.

FULL ENGLISH WITH FRENCH TOAST

Dischord Records, French Toast (consisting of long-term Fugazi contributor,
Jerry Busher as well as being involved with the likes of Nation Of Ulysses and
Make Up) haul ass around the UK this May in support of their first full length
release 'In A Cave' (out March 7th). So for plenty of hook and rhythm mixed with

JULIES 'BEATLES' HAIRCUT

Julies haircut pop over to the UK this month to take part in the
International Pop Overthrow festival ( www.internationalpopoverthrow.com)
in Liverpool, May 26th - 30th at the Cavern Club. The band will be playing two
shows, both on Sunday May 29th, the first at the Cavern club at 3pm then a
quick dash up to the Lennon's Club for another 30 minute set at 7.30pm.
